All metals and appliances are recycled.
A fee of $4.50 to $20.00 applies, depending on the item. Examples
of items that can be recycled: Wire, bikes, appliances (like lawnmowers,
microwaves, refrigerators, ranges).

The following items are accepted at the recycle center:
Aluminum: Cans only! No foil or pie
plates. Some cat food and other containers are aluminum. Test
with a magnet - won't stick to aluminum.
Cardboard: Corrugated cardboard only!
No cereal box material or waxed/plastic coated corrugated boxes.
Remove packing material.
Glass: Separate by color - Brown, Green
or Clear. Blue can go with green. No caps or lids, please!
Newspaper: Newsprint and inserts. (If
it came with the newspaper, it can be recycled with it). Catalogs
and magazines are not accepted.
Paper, White: Copy, computer, laser
computer, notebook papers, business forms, bills and stationary
are all acceptable. Remove staples if possible and all other metal.
No stickers, adhesives, envelopes, file folders, binders, carbons,
construction or colored paper, newspaper, junk mail or paper with
more than 30% colored ink.
Paper, Mixed: Colored ledger paper,
envelopes (white or colored), carbonless paper, pamphlets and
brochures, opened and sorted direct mailings. No glossy material.
Plastic containers: Plastic
marked #1 PET only (like Pepsi & Gatorade & Aquafina
bottles). Please rinse container; as always, no caps. No plastic
bags, milk jugs, or gallon containers.
Steel (Tin cans): Rinse cans, remove
one end, put inside can and flatten. Avoid loose ends if possible.
